Agency Information: Florida Department of Children and Families' Documents Concerning Celebrate Children International of Oveido Florida

Erin Siegal, author of the upcoming book, Finding Fernanda*, has released documents obtained from the Florida Department of Children and Families concerning Celebrate Children International (CCI) of Oveido Florida. The documents pertain to complaints about CCI's International adoption programs. All documents were obtained in response to a public records request (Freedom of Information Act) made by Ms. Siegal as part of her research process in writing Finding Fernanada and are available for download at the following link: http://findingfernanda.com/?p=512

*From the Finding Fernanda website - "Finding Fernanda
is a dramatic true story and a carefully reported work of investigative journalism that brings readers on a gripping journey into the world of international adoption corruption. The story follows two mothers, one American and one Guatemalan, whose lives abruptly collide while searching for the same little girl. Each woman unwittingly ends up playing a pivotal role in what was one of Guatemala’s most profitable underground industries: the buying and selling of children for international adoption".
